In Simferopol, a case was opened against doctors because of the child's injury during childbirth

A criminal case has been initiated against the doctors, whom the parents of a newborn baby accused of having mutilated the child. This was reported on December 13 in the Department of the IC for Crimea and Sevastopol.

"In the process of delivery, doctors used prohibited methods of extracting the fetus, as a result of which the baby was born unconscious, with bone damage", - specified in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

The investigation began a check on the fact of the incident, and a forensic medical examination was appointed.

Earlier, on December 11, Vladimir and Daria accused the doctors of Simferopol clinical maternity hospital № 2 in negligence. According to the parents, because of the error of the medics, their second child may become disabled.

During labor Vladimir noticed the alleged confusion of doctors. After that, according to him, two people began to press on his wife's abdomen with their elbows. As a result, the baby was born with a weight of 4.8 kg. The newborn was unconscious and was urgently transferred to the intensive care unit. The baby suffered two broken ribs and severe brain damage that may leave him disabled.

The family sought help from lawyers and sent a complaint to the Investigative Committee. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea announced the beginning of an inspection on this case.
