The Vitaminization program was extended in the Murmansk Oblast


In the Murmansk region extended the program "Vitaminization" of the population until December 25, 2025. The order on this signed in the regional Ministry of Health, reports IA "Beeport" on Friday, December 13.
"Vitaminization" provides for the diagnosis of vitamin D levels and its correction in case of deficiency. Northerners will be able to find out information about the need to take the drug, personalized dosage and receive it for free within 20 minutes.
The project was launched at the end of January 2024 on the instructions of Governor Andrei Chibis as part of the strategic plan "In the North - to live!". In December, the head of the region announced the need for the program for the next year, as it has become popular with residents.
According to the results of Russian clinical studies, vitamin D deficiency is determined in more than 50% of examined adults. And residents of the North this deficiency is even higher due to long and cold winters.
