The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) has proved its statehood and patriotism during its existence. This was stated by First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko on December 13 at the XXXVI congress of the party at the VDNKh in Moscow.

"The party, of course, has now passed a difficult period after the departure of the creator, the founder of the party, to be honest, you all remember that there were many different experts who said that the LDPR party is a party of one man, after the departure of Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky the party will not be able to exist, it will disintegrate," Kirienko said.
He expressed gratitude to the party's leadership and activists for managing to cope with the difficult period, emphasizing that "the party has not only not collapsed," but continues to win the trust of citizens.
