Two people were injured in an accident involving a bus and a trolleybus in St. Petersburg. This was reported on December 13 in the Telegram-channel of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city and the Leningrad region.

It is noted that the accident occurred on December 13 on Leninsky Avenue in the Kirov district of the city.

"There was a collision of a passenger bus "Volgobus" route № 239 under the control of a 39-year-old driver and a trolleybus route № 32 under the control of a female driver," - said in the message of the department.

As a result, two women were injured: the driver and the conductor of the trolleybus. They were taken to the hospital in a state of moderate severity, the Interior Ministry said.

According to preliminary data, the bus driver is to blame for the accident, who entered the intersection at the prohibited traffic signal. Protocols were drawn up in respect of the man under part 1 of article 11.23 ("Management of a vehicle without a tachograph") and article 12.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of application of seat belts").

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police.

On the eve in the press service of the State Automobile Inspectorate of Moscow reported that three people were injured in an accident involving a bus and a car in the center of the capital.

They specified that the BMW car drove into a bus, which was standing at a public transportation stop. As a result of the collision, the passenger car caught fire, and its owner died of his injuries on the spot.
