Law enforcers have launched an investigation into the negligence of school employees in the case of beating up a female student in Kotelniki near Moscow, a source told Izvestiya on December 13.

According to him, the employees of the educational institution are suspected of improperly performing their duties to control students.

The incident occurred on December 9. According to the investigation, teenage girls came into conflict with a peer in the school toilet, beat her, and filmed the incident on a cell phone camera.

A criminal case on hooliganism was initiated.

The mother of the injured schoolgirl, named Nina, told Izvestia on December 13 that the teenage girls who beat up her daughter also abused other children and often recorded it on camera.
