"Strana.ua": emergency blackouts have begun in Kiev and Lviv region

Emergency blackouts have started in Kiev amid explosions in some regions of the country. This was reported on December 13 by the city's public alert service.
"Emergency blackouts of light begin. Schedules of stabilization blackouts are not in effect. The return to them will be announced additionally," - indicated there.
In addition, according to the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua", blackouts after the explosions also began in the west of the country in the Lviv region, indicated "Gazeta.Ru".
"Across Ukraine, by order of Ukrenergo, there are now light outages in the third of six stages, according to the general director [of the energy company] Yasno Kovalenko," Strana.ua specified in its Telegram channel.
Earlier on December 13, the country's Energy Minister German Galushchenko said that emergency power cuts had begun throughout Ukraine, it happened against the background of the explosions that sounded. Also the administration of the Ternopil region in Telegram-channel reported about the blackout of light at half of the inhabitants of the region. A day earlier, the Ukrainian edition of Strana.ua reported about two powerful explosions in Kiev region.
On December 9, it became known that in Ukraine in Brovary district of Kiev region and Ivano-Frankivsk region there were explosions amid an air alert. The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information.
Before that, on November 30, in the Ministry of energy of Ukraine reported that because of the shortage of electricity Kiev requested imports of the resource from five countries. It is predicted imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova. It is specified that the volume of electricity imports will amount to 11,747MWh, with the capacity of 1,165MW.
