The level of trust of Russians in Russian President Vladimir Putin amounted to 80% over the past week. This follows on Friday, December 13, from the data of the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM). Thus, the vast majority of the country's citizens expressed a positive attitude to Putin's work as head of state.

81% of Russians said that the head of state is doing his job well.

The survey was conducted from December 6 to 8, 1.5 thousand citizens of the country participated in it, notes "Gazeta.Ru".

According to the poll of the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research(VTsIOM), the indicator of the level of approval of the Russian President's performance at the time of December 8 was 78.7%.

At the same time, 61.1% said they trusted Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Communist Party of Russia (CPRF) leader Gennady Zyuganov - 29.4%, Just Russia leader Sergei Mironov - 30.3%. Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) party head Leonid Slutsky garnered 21% of positive votes, while New People leader Alexei Nechayev received 9.1%.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted back in early July that the high level of support for Putin among Russians was due to the results of his daily responsible work.
