Rostec State Corporation has developed a "smart" device that will diagnose industrial equipment. This was reported in the press service of the company on December 13.

"RT-Tekhpriyemka company of Rostec State Corporation has developed an intelligent automated equipment prognostic complex (PKO)," - stated in the message on the website.

It is specified that the system allows to significantly increase the operational life of equipment, as well as helps to save maintenance costs. It is specified that the development has no analogs in terms of functions.

"Rostec" emphasizes that the complex is designed for diagnostics of equipment in any industrial sector, including machine building, metallurgy, chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as fuel and energy complex (FEC).

Moreover, the development contains software with elements of artificial intelligence, as well as "an electronic database on all types of equipment failures and its own sensor system, which is based on the work of special sensors".

Vladlen Shorin, general director of RT-Tekhpriyemka, said that PKO is a unique Russian product that will allow industrial enterprises to cut costs and move to a new level of production efficiency. According to him, the complex can anticipate potential malfunctions, reduce resource consumption by up to 40% and extend the life of equipment by 50%.
