As a result of the downing of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Vladimir region there were fires. This was reported by the head of the region Alexander Avdeev on December 13.

Earlier in the day it was reported that on the night of December 13, four drones of the AFU were shot down over the territory of the Vladimir region.

"The fall of the UAV caused small fires outside the residential area. There are no casualties or damage," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Avdeev said he has been at work since the morning and held a meeting of the operational headquarters. According to him, decisions are being made to restrict the movement of people, discussing the need to evacuate residents to eliminate the consequences of the fall of drones.

Later he clarified that on the site of the fall of the Ukrainian drone in Petrushevsky district are conducting operational and investigative activities. There is no threat to the population.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that over the past night air defense assets intercepted and destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones in the skies over four Russian regions.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories amid the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
