The case of a panther attack on a child in Angarsk was closed due to reconciliation of the parties

Angarsk city court has terminated consideration of the criminal case on the attack of a circus panther on a three-year-old child due to reconciliation of the parties.

"December 13. <...> Proceedings on the case were terminated <...> in connection with reconciliation with the victim," reads the case card on the court's website.

The criminal case on rendering services that do not meet safety requirements (part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was sent to court by the prosecutor's office on December 2.

The panther attack on a three-year-old child in Angarsk occurred on October 28, when one of the parents brought the kid to the private mobile circus "Wild Drive" and decided to take a picture with the predator. The boy's mother Svetlana then told "Izvestia" that at the time of the incident he was with his father, who lives separately. As a result, the child was hospitalized with injuries to his back, arm and leg.
