Boxer Papin cited Hardy's only advantage as his weight

Russian boxer Alexei Papin at the control weigh-in before the tournament gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries" called weight the only advantage of his opponent - American Greg Hardy. December 12 athletes passed the weigh-in.

At the weigh-in it was revealed that Hardy weighs 146 kg, while Papin weighs only 101 kg.

"His advantage is probably just weight. My advantage is speed and endurance," emphasized the Russian boxer.

After the control weigh-in there was a battle of glances, during which the boxer from Nigeria Solomon Adebayo noted that he was not afraid of his opponent Sergey Kuzmin.

"I'm very vulnerable, shy, but I'm not afraid of him, everyone said I was afraid, but no, there is no fear," Adebayo shared.

Also weigh-ins were American Kevin Johnson and Russian Vitaly Minakov, who will meet in the main fight of the gala show.

On Dec. 12, Johnson promised to defeat his opponent, noting that "two warriors" will meet tomorrow. At the same time, he talked about his diet before the tournament and declared his love for salads, in particular - olivier.

A large-scale boxing tournament as part of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries" will be held on December 13 in the sports complex "Megasport" in Moscow. The main event of the evening will be a bout between MMA fighter Vitaly Minakov and boxer Kevin Johnson. American mixed martial artist Greg Hardy and Russian boxer and kickboxer Alexei Papin will meet in a consensual fight. Also European champion, two-time Russian boxing champion Sergey Kuzmin and professional boxer Solomon Adebayo will enter the ring.
