Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan left by plane early in the morning for Moscow, where he intends to take part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EICC). This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Cabinet on December 13.

"Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan left for the Russian Federation on a working visit. The regular session of the EMPS will be held today in Moscow under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Pashinyan," the statement reads.

The politician himself published video footage from the working office of his plane on the page in the social network Instagram (owned by the organization Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) and the moment of takeoff of the presidential board.

"We flew to Moscow," he signed the clip.

Earlier, on November 26, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters that the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (EAEC) will be held on December 25 in St. Petersburg at the request of Armenia, which chairs the EAEC. At that, Pashinyan will chair the meeting.

Afterward, on December 4, Pashinyan said that he considers it inexpedient to hold the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Yerevan. Pashinyan explained his decision by the fact that "not all members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council are desirable" for the republic.
