FC Khimki soccer player Kavtorev injured in a road accident in St. Petersburg

Ilya Kavtorev, a footballer of the youth team of the Moscow Region club Khimki, was injured in a traffic accident in St. Petersburg. This was reported on Friday, December 13, by a source of Izvestia.

According to his data, the 21-year-old driver, driving a vehicle in a drunken state, crashed into a lamppost. 16-year-old Kavtorev, who was in the passenger seat, was seriously injured.

The athlete was hospitalized with a fractured skull, head injury and severe alcohol poisoning.

It is specified that the driver of the car was previously brought to administrative responsibility for violation of traffic rules. A criminal case was initiated against him.

Earlier, on December 11, it was reported that the Minister of Culture of Mordovia Svetlana Baulina got into an accident on the official car. After first aid was hospitalized in Saransk. It is specified that the driver of the vehicle died as a result of the accident.
