The SSJ-100 aircraft flying from St. Petersburg to Moscow experienced depressurization

Depressurization of the cabin occurred in the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft of Rossiya Airlines, which flew from St. Petersburg to Moscow. This was reported by a source of Izvestia on Friday, December 13.

According to him, after depressurization began, the crew decided to return to the point of departure, Pulkovo airport.

A source familiar with the situation told Izvestia that during the pre-flight inspection, the crew failed to notice an unclosed hatch, which led to the airplane's leakage during the flight.

Later in the press service of the airline "Russia" told "Izvestia" that the landing was made at 8:22. The flight will be performed by a reserve aircraft after 9:00. The emergency situation at the airport was not announced, the company said.
