In Transbaikalia, a man beat his 10-month-old daughter

A man suspected of beating his 10-month-old daughter has been detained in the Transbaikal Territory. About it on Friday, December 13, reported the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the region.

"According to the investigation, the suspect in a state of alcohol intoxication beat his 10-month-old daughter, who is hospitalized with injuries that belong to the category of serious harm to health", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.

Criminalists have been sent to the scene of the crime to consolidate evidence and appoint expert examinations.

The detainee will be charged under part 3 of article 30, paragraph "c" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of a minor in a helpless state").

Earlier, on November 28, it became known that in Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo region, a 12-year-old schoolboy hid for two days behind boxes in the dairy department of the store from his stepfather, who beat him. The child was found two days later in the store with signs of beating. He was sent to the hospital.

The man who systematically caused physical and moral suffering to his 12-year-old stepson between May and November 2024 was arrested. He was remanded in custody for two months, until January 27, 2025.
