Gladkov reported the death of a self-defense fighter due to a UAV attack on Belgorod region

A self-defense fighter was killed in Belgorod Region as a result of a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on December 13.

"During the night, a self-defense fighter was killed during a UAV attack on the Terebrinskoye rural settlement. I wanted to express sincere words of condolences to relatives, friends, acquaintances. The memory of his feat will always be in our hearts," said the head of the region in a video message, published in Telegram-channel.

Also on December 13, the head of Belgorod region reported that as a result of the Ukrainian drone attack on Belgorod district, one person was injured, a man was hospitalized in serious condition. In addition, as a result of the drone attack damaged the building of a commercial facility near the settlement of Oktyabrsky.

Before that, on December 12, it became known about the destruction of five drones of the AFU over the Rostov region with the help of air defense at around 22:00 Moscow time.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
