Bob Dylan's home in New York City is up for auction for $7.25 million

Bob Dylan's New York City townhouse, where he lived at the peak of his career, has been put up for sale for $7.25 million, the New York Post reported Thursday, Dec. 12.
"The five-story townhouse in Turtle Bay Gardens boasts a rich history of famous tenants, including Hollywood royalty, Broadway legends and Dylan, one of America's most iconic musicians," the piece said.
The house, designed by Charlotte Sorchan and built in the 1920s, has its own access to Tirtle Bay Gardens.
After Dylan sold the property in 2005, the home passed into the hands of developers who have maintained its charm while modernizing some elements. Ownership of the property is held by Lisa Larson and Angela Wu of Sotheby's International Realty.
Earlier, on June 27, it was reported that Marilyn Monroe's home had become a Los Angeles landmark. A months-long battle to save the building from demolition was brought to an end. Marilyn's house is now on the list of about 1.3 thousand objects that Los Angeles considers important for culture.
