The Defense Ministry showed footage of combat training of the Russian Armed Forces personnel

In the Barnaul missile unit, autonomous launchers of the Yars mobile ground-launched missile system (MGMK) performed maneuvering actions on combat patrol routes. This was reported by the Defense Ministry on December 13.

"Planned measures of combat training allow to check the readiness of personnel, as well as weapons and military equipment for long-term duty on combat patrol routes," - said the commander of the group, Captain Yuri Doronin.

The ministry noted that servicemen of the Strategic Missile Forces (SMF) practiced tasks and instructions, including maneuvering actions on combat patrol routes in the dark.

The "Yars" SRBMs made marches of up to 100 km, dispersal of units with change of field positions and their engineering equipment, organization of camouflage and combat guarding

Moreover, strategic missileers practiced ways of countering conventional sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

Scheduled combat training events allow to improve the training of personnel, cohesion of formations and military units of the Strategic Missile Forces.
