More than 2.6 million Stanley mugs have been withdrawn from sale in the US due to faulty lids

Stanley recalled 2.6 million steel mugs after 38 people suffered burns due to faulty lids. This was reported by NBC News on December 12.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the lids of the mugs detached during use, causing 38 cases of burns. The agency also said that the measure applies to all Stanley travel mugs of Switchback and Trigger Action stainless steel models, which were sold on the US market between June 2016 and this month.

The cookware manufacturer has recorded 91 complaints of defective lids. It is known that 16 incidents occurred in the United States, two of which ended up injuring users.

Earlier, on December 10, "Izvestia" reported that Wildberries will remove from sale aroma-inhalers popular with children within a day. They also assured that they strictly comply with the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation, the seller's offer contains a list of goods prohibited for sale.
