Serbia has set a course to intensify cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Minister for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Andrei Slepnev said in an interview with Izvestia.

"Today we see that trade with Serbia is not growing as actively as we would like it to. Of course, the political situation affects these processes. But I can say that just the other day we held talks with representatives of the Republic of Serbia and reached an agreement that in early February 2025 we will hold a full-fledged meeting of the joint committee, where we will discuss all the possibilities and how we can saturate our economic ties with concrete content. It is very important that such activity was shown on the Serbian side," he said.

The minister added that Serbia has set a course to intensify work with the Eurasian Economic Union.

"I am sure that the results will not take long to come," he emphasized.
