Ukrainian media reported explosions in Kiev region


Explosions have occurred in Kiev Region in northern Ukraine. This was reported on December 12 by the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua" in Telegram-channel.
"Explosions are reported near Vyshgorod in the Kiev region," reads the post published at 21:47 (22:47 Moscow time).
According to the online map of the country's digital transformation ministry, an air alert was declared in the city of Kiev, as well as in the Kiev, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions as of 23:50 Moscow time.
Earlier, on December 9, it became known that in Ukraine in Brovary district of Kiev region and Ivano-Frankivsk region there were explosions amid an air alert. The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.
Russian troops in October 2022 began strikes on military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As explained by Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kiev regime.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
