FRG authorities urged Germans to be prepared for blackouts and stock up on food

The population of Germany should prepare for a long blackout due to possible hybrid attacks. This was stated by Rene Funk, vice president of the Federal Office for Civil Defense and Disaster Relief of the Federal Republic of Germany, in an interview with the German portal T-online on December 12.
"Prepare for emergencies, it could also be a prolonged power outage," he said, addressing German citizens.
Funk demanded from each German family to stock up on everything necessary so as to be self-sufficient for 72 hours.
It is noted that the vice president of the agency recommends Germans to stock up on food for several days, including bottled water and foods with a long shelf life. He also listed other items needed in the inventories of the residents of the FRG, namely: battery-operated lamps or candles, matches, battery-operated or crank radio, cash.
Earlier on December 10, US geopolitical analyst Cyrus Janssen shared on his YouTube channel that Germany has accepted the US narrative about the harms of cooperating with China, thereby putting itself in a choice of regaining sovereignty and economic independence or continuing dependence and economic decline.
Earlier, on Nov. 25, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel pointed out that the rejection of Russian gas has caused significant damage to German business and industry.
Prior to that, on November 15, German businessman Ulf Schneider said that anti-Russian sanctions only harm Germany and have no positive effect.
In September, it was reported that the German industry is experiencing the most serious decline during the existence of the FRG. According to experts, the dynamics of industrial production in Germany is historically unprecedented. At the same time, Politico newspaper reported that German residents can no longer ignore the fact of a serious crisis in the country's economy, due to which there is tension in society.
