Russians named the most recognizable car brands from China

Geely brand turned out to be the most recognizable automobile brand from China among Russians. This was reported on December 12 by the analytical agency "Avtostat" on the results of the survey, which was attended by about 5 thousand car owners.

Thus, Geely brand took the first place with 29.4% of votes. Chery took the second place with 24.6% of votes. Haval brand entered the top three, the result of which amounted to 22.1%. Significantly lower percentage of recognizability among Chinese brands demonstrated Changan (4.1%) and Tank (2.3%), which closed the top five.

In total, according to the agency, in 2024, more than 60 Chinese brands were represented in the Russian car market, of which more than 35 brands operate officially.

On November 27, auto expert Alexander Smith dispelled myths about quickly rusting Chinese cars. According to him, modern cars of brands from China, contrary to a common misconception, do not rot in the first year and do not "blossom bugs" from a small chip.

Prior to that, on November 25, experts of car services said that drivers of Chinese cars are most often concerned about failures of multimedia systems, touch screens, parktronic, radar, rearview cameras and climate control. There is also a gradual increase in the number of visits for oil changes, tire service and other minor repairs.
