Russians began to spend more money on sports equipment


Russians started spending 25% more on sportswear and equipment. At the same time, the number of purchases increased by 28%, and the average check increased by 2% to 3,794 rubles. Such data showed the analysis of transactions on the cards of Post Bank customers in the fall and early winter of this year compared to the same period last year. "Izvestia" got acquainted with the information of the credit organization on December 13.
Experts suggested that Russians tend to lead an active lifestyle, increase physical fitness and develop their abilities in certain sports. At the same time, the increase in spending is also associated with changes in the logistics of imported goods purchased by sports stores.
At the same time, the bank specified that at the same time, spending on various types of sporting leisure activities increased by 12%. At the same time, the number of transactions increased by almost 15%. The average check increased by 7%, up to 1742 rubles. Thus, the top activities are winter sports, for example, skating, skiing and snowboarding. In addition, swimming and recreation centers are popular among Russians even in the autumn-winter period. The volume of spending increased by 17%, and the average check amounted to 1308 rubles.
Earlier, on December 6, senior trainer of the international network of ballet and stretching studios LEVITA Akulina Bakhturina told "Izvestia" about how to do sports in winter. According to her, in addition to traditional summer sports, winter opens up new opportunities for seasonal activities.
She advised to include skiing, snowboarding and skating in your schedule. At the same time, clothing for winter outdoor sports should be comfortable, sufficient, but not too warm.
