Podnosova called the cooperation of CIS judges a mechanism for improving the quality of justice

The head of the Russian Supreme Court, Irina Podnosova, has said that the joint work of the council of chairmen of the CIS supreme courts will improve the quality of justice. Her words were quoted by the Russian Agency for Legal and Judicial Information(RAPSI) on December 12.

"I am convinced that it is the council of presidents of the CIS supreme courts that is the most effective mechanism that will improve the quality of justice in the Commonwealth. It will also contribute to the expansion of mechanisms of mutual legal assistance between judicial bodies," Podnosova said at the council meeting.

In addition, she pointed out the importance of regular sending of materials of generalization of judicial practice and judicial statistics by the participants of the Council.
