Polish Foreign Ministry told about the refusal to send troops to Ukraine

Poland has no plans to send its troops to Ukraine after the cease-fire. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski told reporters on December 12.
"We support the whole logistical operation to help Ukraine, and maybe that is our role. At the same time, we do not consider any direction of forces to Ukraine," Sikorski said.
At the same time, he noted that Poland would continue to help Ukraine with deliveries of military equipment and weapons.
Earlier in the day, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made the same statement during a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Earlier, on November 1, Sikorski pointed out the mistake of helping Ukraine on a gratuitous basis. According to him, the credit basis of military aid to Ukraine could have been implemented from the beginning of the SWO. However, the government proposed it only now.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Kiev against the background of the Russian Federation's special operation to protect Donbas, the launch of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on 24 February 2022 after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
