Rosseti commented on the situation with the detention of Dagenergo employees

Dagenergo employees detained are being investigated on the initiative of Rosseti North Caucasus. This was reported in the press service of the joint-stock company on December 12.

"At the initiative of the company investigative measures are being carried out with respect to a number of employees of the branch "Dagenergo". "Rosseti North Caucasus is providing the necessary assistance to law enforcement authorities," the statement reads.

As TASS was told earlier in the day by Dagenergo (a branch of PJSC Rosseti North Caucasus), law enforcers detained 19 employees of the company on suspicion of large-scale electricity theft.

In April, Magomedhabib Mukhumayev, director of the Dagenergo branch, was arrested in a fraud case. He was suspected of embezzling about 2.8 billion rubles as part of an organized criminal group. Subsequently, it was reported about the arrest of a number of other defendants in the case.
