VTB expands its office network in LNR and DNR


Four new VTB Bank offices opened in the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics: one each in Luhansk and Donetsk, and two more in Mariupol. The offices will serve both retail customers and representatives of medium and small businesses. This was reported by the press service of the credit organization.
As the President - Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Andrey Kostin said, at the end of the year the bank will open 250 branches and will be represented in all subjects of the Russian Federation. "A special task for all of us - new regions of Russia. As a backbone bank, we do our best to support our compatriots here: over the past two years, VTB Group has allocated more than 3.2 billion rubles for the construction and reconstruction of social facilities in new regions," Kostin said.
In addition, VTB seeks to "provide residents and businesses with access to a wide range of modern financial services. The opening of new full-size branches in the DNR and LNR was another step towards this goal, Kostin added.
Head of the DNR Denis Pushilin noted that the new VTB branches in the republic "will contribute to the improvement of living standards and will be in demand among residents. In turn, the head of the LNR Leonid Pasechnik emphasized that the expansion of VTB's presence in the region not only contributes to "healthy interbank competition", but also makes it possible to create new jobs and expand the list of banking services.
