NATO is very concerned about Russia's statements about the direct involvement of the United States, Britain and France in strikes by Western long-range weapons deep inside the Russian Federation, realizing that it will be impossible to hide it. This was said in a December 12 statement by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), according to information received by the intelligence services.

"Nato experts are well aware that it is unrealistic to hide the involvement of servicemen of Western countries in missile attacks on Russia. It is now common knowledge that guidance and programming of flight missions of missile systems handed over to Kiev is impossible without specialists from the country of manufacture," the press release said.

Lawyers of the North Atlantic Alliance truly fear that Moscow may impute to Western states the realization of armed aggression against Russia. However, the peculiarity of the situation is that even if it does not result in court cases in international instances, the accusations against the West "will be supported by a serious evidence base" and they will be well understood in the countries of the Global South, states the intelligence.

It is noted that the combat use by the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) of the hypersonic medium-range ballistic missile "Oreshnik" in the conflict in Ukraine has significantly increased concern.

"Brussels fears that the accusatory argumentation available to Moscow could be used not on the legal plane, but to justify retaliatory decisive actions. The Russian side's possession of irrefutable evidence of Western aggression against the Russian Federation is an extremely worrying sign for NATO," the SVR concluded.

Earlier, on December 11, the governor of Kherson Region, Volodymyr Saldo, said that even after the completion of the special military operation in Ukraine, the deployment of a NATO contingent should not be allowed, because then Russia's opponents can build up their strength and resume the conflict with the use of new weapons systems. Saldo recalled that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky (whose term of office expired on May 20) now admits that the country will not join the North Atlantic Alliance, but instead demands the deployment of troops of Western countries to Ukraine.

Before that, on 6 December, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the West hears Russia's statements about the situation in Ukraine and sees that it is not in their favor. They are witnessing the collapse of their dreams of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, the diplomat said.

On November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the live test of the Oreshnik ballistic missile, one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems. He specified that the move was in response to the escalation by Western countries in Ukraine.

In the following days, the head of state clarified that Russia would continue these tests and that the decision on the serial production of missiles had already been made. He also disclosed that the "Oreshnik" has 10 separating blocks that attack the target and everything in the epicenter of the explosion turns to dust.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
