Russian Armed Forces destroy Ukrainian Bogdana SAU with Lancet ammunition in Sumy region

The Russian Armed Forces (AF) have destroyed the Ukrainian army's Bogdana self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) using a Lancet barrage munition in Sumy Region. On December 12, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of objective control.

"Air reconnaissance means of one of the units of the "North" group of forces in the Sumy region detected a 155-millimeter self-propelled artillery unit "Bogdana" of the AFU, the calculation of which was firing in the direction of Russian troops," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The decision to fire was made after analyzing intelligence data. The target was successfully hit using the Lancet.

Air reconnaissance means carried out objective control of the strike on the SAU in real time.

Earlier, on December 8, the Russian military destroyed an L119 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with a Hyacinth-B gun crew in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). Also, FPV drone operators destroyed a Ukrainian Podnos mortar.
