In St. Petersburg at the subway station "Lomonosovskaya" suffered a two-year-old resident - the girl's hand got under the escalator tape. This was reported on December 12 by the source of "Izvestia".

It is known that the tragedy occurred when the victim's mother was distracted by the second child. As a result of the accident, the girl has three broken fingers on her left hand.

The press service of the St. Petersburg subway urged parents to be more attentive and not to leave children unattended.

Before that, on October 23, the escalator chewed the hand of a four-year-old boy in the St. Petersburg subway. The incident occurred at the metro station "Ploshchad Vosstaniya", when the child went on the escalator ahead of the adult. Suddenly the boy fell and his hand was chewed by the lifting mechanism. His father and a subway employee rushed to the victim's aid.
