Apple imports to the Stavropol Territory increased sevenfold

Imports of apples to the Stavropol Territory have increased sevenfold. Since October, 1.5 thousand tons of these fruits have been brought to the region, the press service of the North Caucasus Department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported on Thursday, December 12.

The products are brought from Georgia, Iran and Azerbaijan, writes IA StavropolMedia. Fruit samples were sent to the laboratory. Analyses showed that all batches of apples meet quarantine requirements and they are allowed to be imported into the region.

Earlier "Izvestia" wrote that the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is working on a program to attract workers to the agricultural industry. It is planned to start the formation of the personnel reserve primarily with students of rural schools.
