Kislovodsk will develop the area around Novy Lake

The authorities of Kislovodsk (Stavropol Territory) are planning to improve the territory around Novy Lake. The project is under development, the press service of the resort's administration reported on Thursday, December 12.

On the shoreline will be equipped with places for swimming, and on the adjacent territory of 60 hectares will be planted lawn and trees. The term of work completion - 2026-2027, writes IA StavropolMedia.

According to the city mayor Evgeny Moiseyev, the object will not resemble the Old Lake, which was reconstructed in the current 2024. The New Lake will emphasize green areas, areas for water procedures and sunbathing, as well as places of quiet rest.

Earlier it was reported that on the Old Lake they want to reopen the boat station, which worked during the Soviet era. In addition, there are plans to organize yoga on sapboards, catamaran races and fishing festivals.
