Such a forecast, answering the question of "Izvestia" on December 12, was given by the head of the analytical center CIAN Alexei Popov.
"These are those who bought land plots for a high price, while entering new markets in other regions. And also it will affect those companies that will not be able to fulfill their financial obligations," - said the analyst.
At the same time, he noted that now in Russia there is a trend to reduce the input of new housing on the market.
"This is an alarming signal. But so far it is important for the buyers themselves that the objects were commissioned and there were no delays from the schedule," Popov said.
According to him, in the conditions of a new increase in the key rate, everything will depend on the financial health of each developer. At the same time, he admitted a new rate increase in December and February.
Earlier, on December 12, the newspaper "Izvestia" reported that developers began selling their land plots. According to analysts, this is due to the need to increase liquidity and debt service.
Prior to that, on October 31, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin that the construction industry has seen a 35% growth over the years of implementation of national projects. He also noted that an important priority of the project "Infrastructure for Life" until 2030 will be the commissioning of at least 100 million square meters of housing.
