Monchegorsk resident persuaded her relatives to give 3 million rubles to fraudsters

Four people in Monchegorsk (Murmansk region) gave about 3 million rubles to false brokers. A 57-year-old woman persuaded her relatives and acquaintances to part with their money.

According to the victim, she received a call from a stranger who introduced himself as an investment specialist. Under his guidance, the woman created a personal account in the application and deposited 30 thousand rubles into the dictated account. After that, the swindlers began to persuade her to involve her relatives in "earning".

According to IA "Bi-Port", the victim's son took out a loan of 250 thousand rubles and transferred the funds to the "broker" account. The woman's brother gave Br515 thousand, while her neighbor - Br595 thousand. In addition, a former classmate of the victim was involved in the scheme. The applicant herself also took out a loan.

Some time later, the woman tried to find out when she would receive income. The swindlers offered to involve more people. Then the northerner turned to the police.

In Ussuriysk, a 58-year-old woman became a victim of false brokers. She transferred 7 million rubles to unauthorized accounts.
