The head of AvtoVAZ announced changes in prices for Lada cars in 2025

In 2025, prices for Lada cars will increase, but the growth is planned to be kept below inflation. This was stated by the head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov in a conversation with Izvestia correspondent.

"Prices, of course, will be changed and indexed to inflation. Therefore, we will try to make the price indexation next year on the model range as a whole a little lower than inflation. Price indexation below inflation is, from an economic point of view, an actual price reduction. I have publicly promised that the price will not change until January 1, 2025. Further we will act according to the situation," Sokolov said.

The top manager also emphasized that from November 2023 the total price indexation for the Lada model range amounted to 4.3%, which is at least half the inflation rate.
