Saldo told about plans to settle a new town on the Arabatska arrow


People will live in a new city on the Arabatska Strelka already in 2025. This was announced by Kherson Region Governor Volodymyr Saldo on December 12.
He noted that new communications were practically laid in the city. According to the Governor, at the moment new treatment facilities are being erected, new power supply capacity is being increased.
"For people to start moving into new houses, there is not much time left. <...> The construction of several neighborhoods of this new direction is already underway... On the Arabatskaya arrow. So next year people will already live in new apartments," he said in conversation with "RIA Novosti".
Earlier, Saldo said that the first phase of the city is designed for permanent residence of 30 thousand people, participants of the special military operation (SMO) plan to issue land plots on favorable terms.
Earlier, on November 22, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that titanic work to repair and reconstruct tens of thousands of different objects was being done to rebuild Russia's new regions. At the time, he specified that the process of reconstruction of highways and repair of residential buildings was underway.
At the end of September, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the Russian authorities will not put off solving social and economic issues in the new regions of the Russian Federation. He expressed confidence that all development issues in these regions would be resolved, as well as security issues.
