Costume artists on December 12 talked about working on outfits for the movie "Finist. The first bogatyr", each of the details was created individually.

The specialists faced a difficult task - to combine modernity and ancient motifs, as well as to take into account the peculiarities of creating costumes for motion pictures. Hundreds of original costumes, stylized for the Bogatyr universe, have already been sewn.

"To load the heroes with the weight and richness of the costume was impossible. Lightness, color, fabulousness," said costume designer Marina Ananyeva.

Her colleague Irina Chepenko, who also worked on the movie, noted that in Russian history there is no latsuit, that's why the creators had to borrow its elements from the European tradition.

To test the suit of armor had to perform the role of Finist Kirill Zaitsev. According to him, wearing armor for 12 hours under the scorching sun can replace fitness.

"This fact that you need to constantly be in armor, it brings you closer to the hero," he said.

The action of the movie takes viewers to the mysterious East. Among the heroes, in addition to Finist, there goes there and Baba Yaga in a new image of a woman vamp, played by actress Yulia Peresild.

"She keeps planning to somehow preserve her youth. This is her main story, of course - to preserve her beauty and youth. She really likes all these oriental costumes here," the actress noted.
