- The head of the Investigative Committee will be reported on the verification of the attempt to interfere with the filming of the story REN TV

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has requested a report on the verification of the incident with the REN TV crew, whose work was interfered with during the shooting of a story about Udmurt MP Viktor Dyakov. This is reported on December 12 in the Telegram-channel of the department.
"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia will be presented with a report on the verification of the fact of obstruction of journalists in the Moscow region," - stated in the message.
Along with this, Bastrykin instructed to report on the information voiced in the story. The fulfillment of the order is under control in the central office of the agency.
The incident occurred the day before, when the correspondent of REN TV Pavel Ponomarev as part of a film crew was preparing a report on Dyakov in the courthouse. It was reported that the latter recently found himself at the center of a scandal involving the abduction of his own daughter from his ex-wife. The deputy's lawyers tried to take away the journalists' filming equipment.
Earlier, on October 31, the film crew of Izvestia correspondent Natalia Grafchikova was attacked while shooting a story about marriage scammers. The journalists went to a supposedly closed dating club, the owner of which jumped on Izvestia cameraman Oleg Klishin and used a chokehold. The equipment was also damaged. A criminal case was opened and the owner of the club was arrested.
