More than 10 defendants have been identified in the criminal case of the former military commissar of Preobrazhensky district of Moscow, Sergei Trigilev, accused of taking bribes. About it on December 12 reports "RIA Novosti" with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies.

"According to the materials of the criminal case, there are more than 10 defendants in it. They have been assigned different measures of restraint, including signing not to leave," the source is quoted by the media outlet as saying.

The identities of the defendants are not named. It is known that they are charged, among other things, with taking bribes and mediation in them. Currently, the investigation of Trigilyov's criminal case is suspended, as he went to the zone of special military operation (SMO).

On July 5, the press service of the city's courts of general jurisdiction reported the arrest for two months of the military commissar of Moscow's Preobrazhensky district.

After, on September 10, the investigation found the arrested Trigilev in possession of expensive real estate, a foreign passport and a large sum of money, including foreign currency. At the same time, he himself pleaded not guilty to receiving three bribes for the release of conscripts from service. The defendant's lawyer Dmitry Chukov said that the military officer refused to express his attitude to the prosecution, taking advantage of Article 51 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which allows not to testify against himself. He also told Izvestia that Trigilev expressed his desire to go to the SVO zone.
