In the Leningrad region, an 85-year-old pensioner died after she stumbled on the road and fell on a passing car. This was reported by the source of "Izvestia" on December 12.

The accident occurred in the afternoon on Wednesday, December 11, on the highway M-10 Ushaki - Rublevo - Gummolovo.

According to the interlocutor of the publication, the woman was following the edge of the roadway in the opposite direction. As a result, she stumbled and fell on the car, which was passing by. It is specified that from the injuries she died on the spot.

On the eve of the source "Izvestia" reported that in St. Petersburg a teenager beat up a pensioner and stole a ring from him. The juvenile was detained and a criminal case was opened under paragraph "g" of part 2 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery with violence").
