Investigative Committee launched an inspection after a schoolgirl was beaten in Novosibirsk region

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has launched an investigation after the beating of a schoolgirl in Novosibirsk region. This was reported in the Telegram-channel of the agency on December 12.

According to information in the media, the schoolgirl beat up a classmate because of a video clip sent to the class chat room. The check is carried out on the fact of a crime under Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence").

It is specified that the head of the agency instructed to report on the progress of the ongoing inspection, as well as on the established circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on December 6, the State Labor Inspectorate in Nizhny Novgorod region reported about the beating of a history teacher by a schoolboy. After self-referral to the hospital, the victim was diagnosed with a concussion and facial abrasions.
