The first batch of UAZ "Patriot" was brought to Cuba

A dozen and a half new UAZ Patriot SUVs have arrived in Cuba. Representatives of the Ulyanovsk automobile plant told Izvestia on December 12 that the Cuban side received a new batch of vehicles for the administrations of local provinces.

Pictures of the unloading process were taken in the seaport of Mariel near Havana. All cars are made in the same configuration and body color.

"Literally two days ago removed from the containers, put into operation. In total, the delivery includes 16 UAZ Patriot SUVs prepared for operation in tropical climates. We are talking about silicone hoses, special oils, copper radiators, special thermostats. Taking into account the recent hurricanes, these vehicles are intended to assist in the restoration of the infrastructure of the Island of Freedom," the Ulyanovsk automobile plant told Izvestia.

The company also added that deliveries under this contract will continue in 2025.

Earlier, on November 28, it was reported that the Ulyanovsk automobile plant will upgrade the painting complex before the start of production of pickup trucks under the Sollers brand, due to which the quality of paint coating of "UAZs" will increase.
