"REN TV Fight Club" held a weigh-in for fighters at the CSKA basketball game

The weigh-in of the participants of the main and consonant fights of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Super Series," which will be held there on December 13.

"The weigh-in was unusual this time - at the match of our team CSKA with almost full stands. This has already happened in my career, here, at the CSKA game, more than five years ago," said Russian mixed style fighter Vitaly Minakov.

The first participants of the weigh-in were American mixed martial artist Greg Hardy and Russian boxer and kickboxer Alexei Papin. Then the fighters of the main battle of the super series - Russian boxer of American origin Kevin Johnson and mixed style fighter Vitaly Minakov - went on the platform.

"Everything is great, I'm in my place here. Boxing is my life, of course, but basketball is the sport I grew up surrounded by. So now I feel like a kid in a candy store. I don't have to prepare. I'm always ready for a fight. Let my opponent prepare for defeat and be cautious. It will be dangerous," stated Kevin Johnson.

Earlier, on December 11, Greg Hardy promised a "real fight" in the fight with Alexey Papin, which will be held as part of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Super Series" on Dec. 13. After the fight Hardy wants to celebrate the New Year and rest, and then already prepare for new fights. To everything else, the athlete expressed hope that next year he will have more meetings in the rings and he will break his records.

On the same day Papin wished his opponent good health before the fight. Also about his preparation before the fight he said that everything is fine and goes according to plan, he is training with the same trainer. The weight of the American is almost 30 kg more than his opponent. According to Papin, because of this they tried to dissuade him from participating in such a fight.

At the same time, the Russian showed his training and said that he would not miss the opportunity to knockout Hardy. According to the boxer, he is currently gaining form and is optimistic before the fight.

A large-scale boxing tournament as part of the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries" will be held on December 13 in the sports complex "Megasport". The main event of the evening will be a bout between MMA fighter Vitaly Minakov and boxer Kevin Johnson. Papin and Hardy will meet in a consensual fight. Also European champion, two-time Russian boxing champion Sergey Kuzmin and professional boxer Murad Khalidov will enter the ring.
