Sergey Sobyanin presented plans to support Moscow's technology sector

It is planned to seriously increase the share of the technological sector in the economy in Moscow by 2030. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told about it in his personal blog on Thursday, December 12.
"For this purpose it is supposed to stimulate private investment in research and development, to promote the introduction of innovative products at commercial and state customers, to increase patent activity and commercialization of intellectual property," the mayor wrote.
Already today, Moscow has managed to form an ecosystem that supports innovative projects at all stages of the life cycle, Sobyanin added.
"The Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC) provides interaction between the main participants of the capital's innovation system: business, science, universities and authorities.
"The cluster allows innovators to seamlessly pass through the main stages of the life cycle in the development and implementation of new products and solutions. It includes more than 40 thousand companies, of which 67.5 percent are from the capital, the rest are from 86 other regions of Russia," the blog said.
Earlier, on November 18, the capital's mayor said that on the site "Alabushevo" SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" 20 large industrial and social facilities are at the design and construction stage. According to him, a plant for the production of glucometers and the first stage of the industrial technopark were put into operation this year.
