FSB officers prevented a terrorist attack in Donetsk

As a result of operational and investigative measures of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) directorate in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), a man suspected of complicity in the commission of a theoretical act has been detained. This was reported on December 12 by Arina Klepanova, the official representative of the republican department of the FSB of Russia.
"The detainee on the assignment of the GUR of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine seized a cache prepared by Ukrainian saboteurs, which contained components for the creation of an improvised explosive device (IED)," Klepanova said.
Ukrainian militants planned to use the IED to blow up a Russian Defense Ministry vehicle. The terrorist attack was prevented thanks to the professional work of operatives of the Russian FSSB.
A criminal case was opened against the suspect under part 1 of article 30, part 3 of article 205.1 and part 3 of article 205.1. 3 of Art. 205.1 and paragraph "c" of Part 3 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Preparation for a crime and attempted crime", "Facilitation of terrorist activities" and "Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of explosives or explosive devices".
Earlier, on December 10, FSB officers detained a man with dual citizenship for preparing a sabotage on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). In the man's house they found explosives and means of communication, which recorded correspondence with a representative of the Ukrainian security services. In addition, it turned out that he belongs to a youth group of adherents of neo-Nazism.
Before that, on December 2, Zaporizhzhya regional court sentenced a citizen of Ukraine to 14 years in a strict regime colony for sabotage on Melitopol railroad. The defendant handed over to an SBU officer the corrected coordinates of a transport infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhya Region for further missile and artillery strikes by the Ukrainian army.
