Forecasters predicted light snow and icy conditions in Moscow on December 12

Cloudy, light snow, in some places moderate, icy - such weather expects residents of the capital region on Thursday, December 12. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from -1 to -3 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to -8.

In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -1 to -6 degrees, at night the temperature may fall to -10.

A west and northwest wind with a speed of 6-11 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 741 mm of mercury column.

Earlier, December 11, in Moscow and Moscow region extended the "yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions until the morning of December 12.

On the same day, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that residents of the capital region expect cloudy weather, light precipitation (snow, wet snow), ice in places.

December 9, leading specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatyana Pozdnyakova told "Izvestia" that on Friday, December 13, in the Moscow region will come real frosts. According to her, it is possible that on Saturday the air temperature will be below -10 degrees Celsius in some places.
