Nadezhda Andryushchenko was appointed general director of Lenfilm


The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has proposed to terminate the powers of the General Director of Lenfilm Eduard Suvorov and appoint Nadezhda Andryushchenko, ex-head of the security service of the company, to his position. "We learned about the removal of Eduard Suvorov from journalists who started calling us. No documents have been received about it, we can't even confirm anything," Lenfilm spokesman Artemiy Agrafrenin told Kommersant.
The Lenfilm website currently lists the old management.
Earlier, on August 20, Eduard Suvorov was appointed general director of Lenfilm, the oldest Russian film studio.
In late July, Izvestia reported that the former general director of Lenfilm, Fyodor Shcherbakov, arrested in absentia on charges of extortion, fled to Turkey on October 25, 2023. He left Vnukovo airport on flight TK-420 to Istanbul. At the same time, there is no information about his return to the territory of Russia.
Before that, on March 11, it was reported that the ex-head of "Lenfilm" is wanted, the prosecution requested his arrest in absentia. The official portal of the courts of general jurisdiction in Moscow noted that his case was categorized as "the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention (paragraph 1, part 2, article 29 of the Criminal Procedural Code of the Russian Federation; article 108 of the Criminal Procedural Code of the Russian Federation)".
