Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a former independent candidate for the U.S. presidency and nominee for the post of Secretary of Health and Human Services in the future administration of President-elect Donald Trump, wants to prove that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was involved in the assassination of his uncle, U.S. President John F. Kennedy. Axios reported on December 11.

"RFK (Robert. F. Kennedy - Jr. - Ed.) believes in it and wants to get to the bottom of it," a source told the publication.

This desire of the former U.S. presidential candidate was partly the reason why he suggested that Trump nominate his sister-in-law and his campaign manager Amaryllis Fox Kennedy for the post of deputy director of the CIA. The newly elected American president has yet to make that decision.

Kennedy Jr. is confident that his daughter-in-law would be able to demand the disclosure of documents and bring to the surface everything the CIA knows about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Axios recalled that the candidate for head of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has repeatedly said that he believes the agency's connection to the crime.

"There is irrefutable evidence that the CIA was involved in the assassination and cover-up," Kennedy Jr. said in the studio of one of his podcasts in May 2023.

Trump, in turn, on November 22 this year, promised to publish the latest materials on the assassination of the president.

John F. Kennedy was shot on November 22, 1963 during his visit to Dallas, Texas, when the President was in a convertible with his wife Jacqueline. The investigation concluded that the crime was committed by loner Lee Harvey Oswald.

Earlier, on November 16, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called on the US Democratic Party to investigate the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the corruption scheme of current US President Joe Biden 's family in Ukraine.

Trump nominated Kennedy Jr. for the post of US Secretary of Health and Human Services on November 14. The newly elected president is confident that John Kennedy's nephew will be able to stop the epidemic of chronic diseases in the country and protect citizens from harmful chemicals, pharmaceutical products and food additives.

The election for the 47th president of the United States took place on November 5. In the national vote, Trump received 51% of the vote, while the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 47.4%. Later, the politician, speaking to supporters, called himself the 47th President of the United States and said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world.
