Russian military repelled an attack on Sevastopol by seven AFU drones


Air defense forces have shot down five drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) over Sevastopol, while electronic warfare (EW) suppressed two more. This was reported by Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev on December 11.
"In total, by this hour, the forces of the air defense and our Black Sea Fleet shot down five UAVs and two UAVs were suppressed by means of REB. According to information from the Sevastopol Rescue Service, no objects in the city - were not affected," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Razvozhayev added that the Russian military repelled the Ukrainian drone attack confidently and calmly. Monitoring of the air situation in the city continues, all operational services of Sevastopol are ready to work.
Earlier in the day Razvozhayev reported that air defense means shot down two drones over the Black Sea at an altitude of 2 km. After that, an air alert was declared in Sevastopol.
On the same day, Yuri Slyusar, the acting head of Rostov Region, said that air defense means destroyed a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Kamensk. There were no casualties or damage.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
